Objectives

  • Students will learn the importance of the historical features of a theatrical production and how the style affects and informs creative acting choices

  • Students will analyze a script for given circumstances, objectives, actions, obstacles, and character relationships and apply that analysis to the creation of a performance

Description

This lesson allows students to analyze the different types of theater productions. They will demonstrate their understanding of historical theater styles by acting in the different presented scenarios.
