Objectives

  • Learn family terminology (from Grandparents to children).
  • Use possessive articles with their proper gender. (My aunt, my uncle)
  • Practice the conjugations in present tense of the verbs "to be", "to have", "to be called", "to live", "to buy" and "to eat".
  • Learn the articles in the akkusativ case to use the verbs "to buy", "to have" and "to eat".
  • Formulate sentences. "The man is my father. His name is Robert. He is 45 years old. His favorite food/color is ..."

Description

We will mix and match spatial words to connect the sentence scene to learn new vocabulary. We will start by introducing the family members, learning to conjugate the new verbs along the akkusativ case, describe the member’s actions through the verbs, as well as, their preferences.

Sequence

  1. First station allows students to mix the words "mein / meine" with family members' names.
  2. We practice the conjugation of verbs "to have", "to be called" and "to be" with family names.
  3. Match verbs to their correct scene.
  4. Learn the verbs "to live", "to eat" and "to buy"
  5. Match verbs to the correct sentence.
